Cold brew, or cold water extract, refers to the process of steeping coffee grounds in room temperature or cold water for an extended period of time. Cold brew coffee is not to be confused with iced coffee, which generally refers to coffee that is brewed hot and then chilled by pouring over or adding ice. Cold brewed coffee is significantly lower in acidity for a smooth, naturally sweeter flavor.
At Venetian Coffee Roasters we've taken the concept of Cold brew to the next level. Over the past year we have experimented with a variety of coffee beans from around the world, roasted to enhance the unique characteristics and test batched between 12-24 hours to create a rich, complex and smooth Cold brew. Venetian Cold brew is highly concentrated with a recommended dilution of 1 part CBC to 3 parts of hot water creating our Americano, Iced black and Iced Latté style Cold brew that are sure to be your new favorite.
We’ve perfected the roast, the grind and the process and are proud to offer our unique Venetian Coffee Cold Brew Grind as the perfect partner to your Cold Brew System. We can also offer you modifications to include a lighter roasted Cold Brew Grind or Half-Caf and Decaf alternatives to customize your Cold brew experience.
Our Cold brew concentrate is available in pint and quart size mason jars at our retail location and at the Venice Farmer’s Market, every Saturday from 8am until noon.
